Container Gardening Flowers
Where can I find a list of minimum sizes of container for Container Gardening?
I'm going to try to plant some flowers, vegetables in containers, but I can not find a comprehensive list of minimum sizes of container per plant. Im just looking for flowers for a flower vase and I am wondering how the little pot can grow to be healthy. Thanks
You can pretty much grow anything in any size pot that the root system will loose fit and have room to grow. Unless you use the soil and more leaves the plant has, the more you have to water it. "The three large plant does not need a "big pot 6. The second plant width does not make a pot of four wide. A plan for a" do not need a large pot 2 "wide. Look at the pots the plants are in garden centers and nurseries to give you a general idea of how big you should go. Too large a pot is not good for plants as the soil will be more likely to get very wet and root rot. Many vendors often recommend certain sites greenhouse pots of size for certain types of plants.
