Does anyone know about the Master Gardener program in Western Washington?

The more I read, the more he seems to be a Master Gardener is not a profession Enter to win a money or support a family with. Sounds more like you get a good education, but you do any volunteer work? Will someone is going to do gardening career, or what would you call it?

From what I can gather from the site is pretty much a training program volunteers. I'm sure some people can take it to the level that they can make a living out of it, how common it is, I do not know.
