The cooking from scratch mean to you?
When I started cooking I jumped in with both feet and how my great first dish I made, starting scratch, chicken pot pie. Now I'm not saying that it was good (lol) but it was mine and I'd be for it. But as the years passed and we made changes city to the country and found that I started thinking really like about how "from scratch" you get. For most countries "from scratch": milk, butter, whole foods, etc. etc. But if you think that is just scratching (Ha ha pun intended: P) on the cooking surface. Example: I love corn so I buy at the store, but oh! What if I ground my own cornmeal? Well, then I'd have to plant corn. Which means I would have to lay out a garden (which we anyway, but that's beside the point). Which means I have to find a way to record or even above. Well, that means I need machines that I could build myself? And so on and so forth. Its formation of a stressful thought, but in the grain, how far would you go to cook from zero?
