Anyone know a good source of online information on Hydroponic Gardening?
I'm so sick and tired to find links to a lot Marijuana-related crap to look at the information on hydroponic gardening or using a Growbox. Anyone know any drug sites unrelated to collect information on these topics?
Tomhennesy Hi! What you're looking for really exists, it just tends to get buried within the search results on Google. Two magazines print quality that I really like are the growth and Edge Practical Hydroponics and Greenhouses. It may be worth checking forums growing edge, since they are semi-active. Http: / / www.hydroponics.com.au/ http://www.growingedge.com/ Another print magazine is full performance, although have many advertisements and articles are very few for my taste. Fortunately all the old articles can be viewed on their website free of ads found in many editing printed. http://www.maximumyield.com/articles.php All three of these magazines are given free hydroponic stores. These stores then decide whether or not will give them or sell them. From what I've been told that these magazines generate their revenue from advertising rather than subscriptions. GardenWeb has a multitude of forums on gardening and one specifically for hydroponics. The members of GardenWeb are very friendly and the forum is extremely active. Most discussed for DIY projects and would very much recommend network with the people there based on their stated interests. http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/hydro/ Finding a good video on youtube about hydroponics is easier said than done, but that user has already produced several quality videos have been pleasant and I hope he adds more in the near future. http://www.youtube.com/user/Mefoo007 University of Arizona in Tucson has a program of plant science and biosystems engineering program with elective courses related to controlled environment agriculture and hydroponics. This school was responsible for the design of the chamber to grow hydroponic use in Admundsen-Scott South Pole Station. UA Tucson actually has a club that meets hydroponic monthly, I believe. If you're in the area to stop for a visit. Http: / / ag.arizona.edu / ECAC / Cornell does some research in this area too. http://www.cornellcea.com/ Try searching on google for CEAC and hydroponics in teaching areas. and you will find several schools abroad and the U.S. actively doing work in this field. You can find Europe, particularly Holland, leading the way in using hydroponics and commercial research. Probably the world's premiere design firm greenhouse operates outside the Netherlands. There is also my site is an up-and-comer, but my ambition is to have a website for like minded busy. It seems that fit the description exactly what you're looking for. If you like trying to register on our forums and we can talk one day. Currently I'm writing a review for a refractometer Milwaukee brix, a tool to measure the sugar content and overall health in plants. Quiet your little useful tool to become! Http: / / www.bilberrybrian.com I hope you find what you're looking for!

Abronia umbellata is a prostrate perennial with thick, succulent leaves (leaves occur few to many and are slender, glabrous to glandular, opposite, ovate to diamond-shape with stems as long as leaf blades, stems are often hairy) and pink to purple colored flowers with white centers. Sand Verbena is typically found on beaches and sand dunes blooming throughout most of the year. Flowers occur in clusters subtended by 5-8 lanceolate bracts. The flowers do not have petals, but the calyx lobes are cleft giving the appearance of 10-16 petals. The limbs of the perianth is bright colored sometimes to purplish magenta and the tube can be green or red but always-glandular pubescent. The tube includes one pistil and three stamens. A. umbellata frequently hybridizes with other species of Abronia, including Abronia maritima. Its flower is fragrant at night and attracts moths.
