Gardening Science Lessons

Fun Science Projects for Science Fair
Science is a fascinating subject, that kids can love only if it is presented in an interesting way. Moreover, science is a subject that should not just be taught from the textbook but also supplemented with practical sessions to demonstrate principles scientific. Like most children of students who dislike science lessons are drawn to it because of the practice sessions where you can for children to see the results of scientific experiments on their own.
If you want your child to explore science in itself only, so here are some simple science experiments that you can encourage your child to accomplish. There are also several kits of scientific experiments or assemblies, which provide the basic chemicals, equipment and other requirements for children to perform the experiments. If you do not want to buy these science kits, there are still a number of experiments that can be performed at home using things simple and easily available at home.
Fun Science Experiments
Here I have compiled some easy and fun science experiments that can be easily demonstrated and even performed by children. Most of these experiments can be performed at home with little supervision and help from parents. Go ahead and seek an experience that not only would be a fun experience for the child, but also a great way to learn basic scientific principles.
Easy Science Experiment # 1 Development of a seed
Requirements: Seeds of any plant, a pot gardening, gardening soil fertile, moist and water.
Procedure: One of the most basic and easy experience for children is growing from a plant seed. All you need do is take a small cup or a pot of suitable size and material. Add a little moist garden soil fertile in the pot. Put some seeds into the pot and ask the child to the water regularly. Place the cup or the pot in sunlight for the seeds to obtain sufficient exposure to the sun.
Things to learn: Children will love the branches and root development of seeds and also will be a great learning experience for the child. Teach the child how to water, soil, sunlight, and seeds are needed to create and growth of a plant. You can extend the teaching session, introducing children to different parts of the plant – from the root, stem, leaves and even flowers and fruits.
Easy Science Experiment # 2 Static Electricity
Requirements: a hard plastic comb, or a balloon, thread, bits dry cereal.
Procedure: Just tie a piece of cereal to one end of a piece of wire. Find a place to attach the other end of the wire. Only segment of the tape edge of a table. Make sure the comb is really clean and free of any dirt and oil. Now, simply rub the comb on dry hair long or a blanket wool so that it is charged with static electricity due to friction. Now, slowly bring the comb near the cereal. The cereal part linked to the debate will swing to touch the comb. Hold it until the grain moves away by itself. The grain tends to depart from the comb now.
Things to learn: the thing to be learned by children is to comb the hair caused the electrons are transferred from the hair to comb. Since the comb is negatively charged with static electricity, neutral grain was attracted to him. When the cereal touched the comb, the electrons were transferred to the grain, resulting in transfer of negative charge. Thus, since both the comb and cereals were negatively charged after a while, he took the rejection.
