Gardening Stones Rocks

gardening stones rocks
I have hundreds of tiny snails in my tropical aquarium how do I get rid of them forever?

I tried to empty the tank, cleaning, even boiling all the rocks and stones and replacing the sand and gravel – the sods came into some plants that once bought from a garden center, has been some eggs of subscribers, as well hook i some snails has produced hundreds more. Is there anything they do not like to eat what would kill them?

There several ways to keep the snails in check: Several species of fish love snails, for breakfast it is. The snail eater is the most common Clown Loach attractive, it will catch the unprotected soft part of the snail and literally suck the poor out of the gastropod shell. If you do not mind me saying this can be quite fun. In the marine aquarium, Pufferfish are good snail eaters and grinding of the snail shell and eat the soft parts. In fact, some people grow snails specifically to feed your Clown Loaches and pufferfish. Run a little hot water over a lettuce leaf and just before lights out, tie a piece of cotton around it and drop it in the tank. It will sink to the bottom and in the morning you should find it covered in snails. Remove the lettuce, snails and everything. Repeat until the snails are under control is important to note that most snail flowers are caused by overfeeding. In these cases, the only reason snails are overpopulating is because they are feeding on excess food that the fish leave behind. Watch the fish when feeding, if do not eat all their food after 3-4 minutes or less, then you are overfeeding. There are some commercial snail killers available that owners the local fish store may try to sell it. If used as instructed these remedies may well kill your snails. However, these chemical solutions basis should be avoided because they tend to kill the bacteria that keep the ammonia and nitrite levels in check. In turn, this can also kill your fish. Prevention It is usually better than cure. If you buy plants from a local fish store and you do not want to accommodate any hitchhikers then I suggest you take the following measures. Before bringing the plants in the aquarium, make the effort of soaking them in salt water hot. After ten minutes, remove the plants and wash well. This should remove or destroy gastropod any unwanted guests. It will also remove potentially harmful parasites such as White Spot
