Apartment complex Nazis?
I live in an apartment complex where I have a garage for storage. I own a pressure washer that I use for work and wash my car. I cleaned my garage today. I pulled the hose out and wash unit of the sidewalk to the field so no one about her trip as I left it for 45 minutes to get my car and run an errand. Upon returning, I found that my pressure washer and hoses were gone. I would call the police and report them stolen. So I thought, who in their right mind would steal it in broad daylight, especially five garden hoses dollar. I was for the maintenance man and asked if he had taken. He had. When I asked why, he said I had left out and it was a risk of liability. When I asked to get back, he said he would let me have it on Monday, since their work day is over. I was furious. You think it is illegal for him to keep my property for any period of time, if only for two days?
Sorry, all the people who seem outraged by and you know it illegal are wrong! No offense to them or their sense of right and wrong. I understand that seems wrong and illegal, and that he should have taken ten minutes to return it immediately. BUT, you understand that the word "responsibility" actually means respect wa owning a property as an apartment complex? They are legally responsible for a wound, for example, anyone on their property if they were injured by an action that the owner might have taken to avoid injury. Say a child began playing w his equipment while he was alone and hurt themselves or another child (I know it did not happen, but ….) If the owner or its agent "(legally man is keeping his" agent ") seen the risk and not removed they would have been crushed in court and paid a solution HUGE.
