Anyone had a dog who steals?
I have a lab / boxer mix who steals. The mother and sister live next door and she goes by up and play. The problem is that it steals from the neighbors. Dog toys, toys for their children, vegtables gardens, the apples on the porch, and more. She brought house shoes, socks, caps, tool kits, newspapers, gloves, and more. I hate about it, because she does not like to play and the neighbors love it, but obviously would be a solution. Does anyone have any idea how to do it to stop, except about?
I had a dog who used to steal socks from the laundry and luggage people. It was funny. He never had anything but socks and never damaged them, just took it and walked with them pleased as punch. I remember seeing a report about a cat (I think in England), who used to wander into people's homes and collect stuffed animals and bring them home. He had a big stack. As she is taking things from a variety of locations, fencing is in your healing. She can still go visit the neighbors but you may have to go with her and teach her the command off. Over time, it can cure it to make the people of other toys.
