Kids Gardening Carrots

Casual Dining – crazy or not so crazy?

I am helping some college kids plan their church wedding on a tight budget. Marriage will be overseas (about 75 people) at a b & b garden in June. It can be hot (my own Dauth married in June and that was 98 degrees at 7:00 pm). They had no idea how much the cost of restoration and flipped out about the cost (30.00 pp for a carrot and a piece of chicken? "Says the bride!). They spoke to a local privately-owned deli and you can get a dinner of "box" which consists of gourmet sandwiches, pasta salad and chips for individual 7.25 pp. On the one hand, this is great. They can be refrigerated before hand and not have to worry about bugs (especially flys). However, I have never seen this done. Marriage is fully casual. If you knew the couple, it totally fits his personality – kind of free spirits. The type of people who always make you laugh. They will serve lemonade, soft drinks and iced tea with biscuits and cookies for dessert. What do you think?

keep it simple. I once organized a wedding for my best friend and we made some cold sliced deli sandwiches and different kinds of salads. Did all the preparation. we had about 40 guests. Weddings do not have to be extravagant and expensive. a young couple who have better things to do with money. good luck!
