im buying my first lawn tractor, any tips? someone recommanded honda-Bridgestone-craftman moray, but im lost in the specifications … I need more tips on the engine, powerhorse, essential accessories, blades. help me please
I'm like you, only difference is that I have compared walking tractors / mowers for every time I buy one for the past 20 years. I usually buy a garden tractor / mower, because I cut about 4 hectares. I always want the following: * Kohler Pressurized oil system * Engine oil filter with iron Cast front axle Hydrostatic Transmission * * * Minimum 50 deck "I now have 54 deck" I shop all prices and the last three times I bought a Cutter was a craftsman from Sears. The last time I waited until the latest cutters came out and made an offer the model in recent years. I ask the manager department in Lawn & Garden. The retail price was $ 3,295. It was marked down $ 800 to $ 2,495. I saw him sit in front of more than two weeks. I finally made an offer U.S. $ 1,995. The manager told me that if I also buy for three years. maintenance contract for $ 395. It was a deal. * I always get the maintenance agreement anyway – what he knew, so it was a good deal. Even $ 2,495.00 was a good deal. I compared all the features and prices. I mean all of them. Toro, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Snapper – The main problem was nothing compared to the craftsman for the deck was always very minor usually 48. I still have the push tractor garden / lawn six years – he is a craftsman with a Kohler engine. I knew I was ready for a new one, then I hit this business. If you clean them well after each use, change oil and filter regularly, good use of the gas, put a fuel additive gas prior to storage for the winter, they last much time. Go ahead, make all the trips to places cutter with a pad of paper and a pen, you'll see it's the best deal. My son swore by John Deere, but he bought cheaply from a home center – I even think they are made overseas. I asked a few times this past summer and was impressed. The best cutters John Deere are good – but be prepared to pay dearly for one.
