How do I make a metal garden stake that looks like a lily, or maybe even a bluebonnet?
I would like this to last a few months at least. Planted Bluebonnets in the local cemetery, but the home tends to forget things and cut, so I wanted a marker for several discrete points where Bluebonnets are coming. The ideals that do not require a welder?
You could have an empty seed packet with a picture on it, or a picture of the flower, and laminate it. Wal-Mart has little card-size laminating sheets very cheap and you do not need a machine. Drill a hole in it. Make a shepherd's staff of thick wire from the crafts shop, and hang your signal enough from the hook. Drive it on the floor and there you go. Keep in mind, however, some cemeteries do not allow this type planting, for their blue caps can be cut off anyway ..
