Organic Gardening Carrots

How do you get your vegetables / fruits to grow well, with all this rain?
I have a garden in my backyard. I planted lettuce, carrots, watermelon, potatoes, onions, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, catnip, tomatoes, basil, cilantro, cucumbers and peppers. There are well spaced, and I added organic fertilizer (Peat) and I keep my Garden Plants on top of the cuttings, they still are not growing as a normal model would be. Its been almost 78 days since I planted everything but the growth atrophied, they seem very, very healthy, and I cut back most of the smaller leaves. Any tips on how I can make my garden grow?
Peat absorb iron in the soil. Add compost or manure to your garden.
