Container Gardening organic plant (herb) 101?

Hello everyone, I'm completely new to gardening. Ive never even planted a seed! So I need to explain things in detail step by step. I have searched all over the internet about this and all they find is "Container gardens are great for cities, its so easy just get a container and fill with potting mix etc … "But they all say the same thing and not going into details. What I would do is start this first year with cherry tomatoes, parsley, green beans, thyme, maybe some other things. Ill see how it goes and make adjustments in the next year. Does anyone have good resources for me? I do not know when to plant seeds, how many seeds to put in, and on the ground, or even how often to water them. I I do not know anything and really need help. Any sites or blogs would be generally amazing. Thanks!

As Newby, I get to buy at the garden center for most of things, especially the tomatoes and thyme. Once you have more experience going to plant tomato seeds. Salsa is very easy to start from seed, and depending on your hardiness zone region /, you should be able to plant seeds of parsley now. You need to wait for the soil to warm up for the beans. You want beans bush or pole beans? I would suggest bush beans into containers. The seed packets should tell you how deep the plants and their spacing. Plan to put at least twice as many seeds in a pot as you might think, some will not sprout and some will be weak. Then once they have a few real leaves, thin plants low to have one or two plants per pot depending on their size. Some types of plants need another plant pollination (ie, they can pollinate themselves), then you may need two. Tomatillos can self pollinate, but they are more productive in at least pairs, Manzano and rocoto chilis can not self-pollinate everyone. Beans do better if they pollinate each other. Ask the garden center to determine the types of tomatoes. indeterminate types get huge and thin, you probably do not have enough space. They may even have "patio" tomato. to do a small shrub and its small size put a lot of fruits that have enough light. If you are planting seeds indoors, you have to take care of moisture out of the disease. Actually, wait until next year to plant seeds within home and ask about it here then. You will probably need to get a lot of things to buy, such as lamps, something to lower the heat, cells, and seedling potting soil, etc.
