Creative ideas and simple crafts for Mother's Day!

May is the time to honor and thank their mothers, grandmothers, and women just-as-a-mother in your circle of family and friends for everything they do in raising children. We have prepared some special target = "_blank"> Mother's day gift ideas crafts and fun activities inspired Mother's Day to share with that special someone.

Cards Thumbprint Note
Cut a piece of paper to the desired size (5 inches by 4 inches is a good size) and fold in half. Having children or thumb in place a stamp pad and make 5 or 6 or fingerprints of the thumb in front of the card. Draw stems and leaves with a pencil or a green marker. Hugs and Kisses

Decorative Soap
Cut a piece of felt, decorative paper or fabric to fit around a bar of soap. Wrap the material around the soap and glue. Let dry. Decorate top and sides of the bar of soap with small silk flowers, ribbons, lace, sequins, beads, etc.

Heart Pendant
Mix the flour a cup, a cup of warm water, salt quarter cup, 2 tablespoons tea cream tartar, one teaspoon of oil, and a few drops of food coloring. Roll dough out. Use a cookie cutter in shape of heart Cut heart shapes. Poke a hole at the top of the heart big enough to thread through ribbon or thread. Let dry. Paint heart. Spread a thin layer of glue on the heart and sprinkle with glitter. Add sequins or small beads, if desired. Pass the wire or tape. Wrap in tissue paper or wrapping.

Mother's Day Party
Mother's Day is a great reason to have a party with family and close friends. Get everyone together for a breakfast, picnic, brunch, garden party or barbecue. Include friends who are close to his mother they are not celebrating with her own family, or combine the celebrations in honor of all mothers, grandmothers and women newly as-a-mother in her circle of family and friends.
