I have moles in my garden? How do I get rid of them?
I have very small tunnels in my backyard, and now my garden Veggi I assume they are moles. Tunnels only about 2-3 inches wide, that is exactly large enough to be a spy? I think online images show huge tunnels. and I I see no hills. I can not step out of all tunnels, small insects have started going thew my garden, right under my corn and tomatoes. I've planted garlic around the garden trying to keep them away, but apparently this is a myth that go right threw. I do not want to use cat poop or chemicals cray or (other things I have found online), as I like to eat things my garden with the illness. I feel I'm in a bad remake of caddy shack! ! HELP ~ ~ Going to war with the evil garden moles.
Moles are very small creatures, so a tunnel 2-3 cm in width would be large enough. I'm surprised at However, you are not finding any molehills, as they are usually the first thing you see. Moles have poor vision very acute, but hearing much, and they are very sensitive to vibration. You put the stick in the ground on or near the tunnel, as the windmill turns off vibrations down to the wood on the ground, and voila – not soft! That's the theory anyway! It may be worth trying.
