How To Use Stone In The Garden
Integration of stone in your landscape design can add depth, texture, seats and even a sculptural element for your garden. Stone has other qualities important functional as well as strength and stability. Stones give a sense of permanence of a garden. As a design element landscape, the rocks are different plants that have excellent characteristics of sculpture. When designing your landscape, consider using stone walls, paths or just as aesthetically pleasing accents in the garden.
Stones are most resistant of all materials from the garden. They are ideal for creating paths, terraces, walls and accents. They are also useful in the water garden where they can edge a pool or be incorporated into a project of the waterfall.
Stones found on site in the native landscape, usually work best in your garden. Large stones, which are great for creating focal points in the landscape must be set on the floor so they are perceived as being part of the natural landscape. Just dig a hole about the width of the stone, and set the ground around its base. This will make them look as if they belong to the garden as they blend with the surrounding landscape.
