Square Foot Gardening Carrots

How do I start my garden square meter?
I'm starting a square foot garden, and am thinking of growing lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, peppers, beans, maybe carrots, cucumber e. I have NEVER had a garden before, and I need to know everything. What should I do about the soil? I'm building three boxes (more like frames) I'll be put in the yard on the ground really Stoney. But I'm thinking of filling the boxes with the ground (if that makes any sense) so I need to know what kind of soil that must use, when should I start planting, how should I plant them? I've heard of getting the plants in pots indoors, then move them to the garden when they are slightly larger. Or is it better to grow them in the same bed? I plan on growing tomatoes, I need a pole or something to grow on, or they grow in the soil? And some personal tips which also would be awesome! Thanks in advance, and sorry if the question seemed scattered.
You have to make these boxes at least 3 meters deep, or you still have to change the ground soil Stoney. The deeper the boxes can be better. I know it's expensive, but the trex decking or decking compound would last much longer, so that any wood product plant used to make your raised Planters. Fill with soil and add 3-way extra fertilizer and perhaps and a little rotted manure (from an organic source would be ideal). You can plant cool-season plants now lettuce (peas, spinach …). Wait until after frost date has passed through before you plant tomatoes, beans, cukes … Buy more tomato cages for your tomatoes and peppers. You'll find cheaper if you go out and get a small cage, your plants will outgrow them in a hurry and you have lost your $ $.
