5 Easy Steps to a new garden bed
Many people think that a new garden bed is dug and place mostly in the spring. They figure gardeners are getting ready to put in plants for the growing season and prepare your flowerbeds the same time.
True, you can prepare an up or in bed soil in the spring you get ready to put on your plants and start the growth process. You can put in hours of sweat, back breaking, making work more insensitive. Now, wait. That's right. Get some garden catalogs, choose some new plants you want to put in, and the dream of planting them in spring.
During the winter, your new garden bed will be doing all the preparation work for the spring. Grass will die. The newspaper will begin to decompose. Earthworms will begin its work of plowing the soil to aerate it so that air and water will be able to move freely around the roots of plants you will be putting in all this will happen while you are inside, staying warm, drinking hot chocolate.
