Vegetable Gardening Schedule

Gardening – a labor of love … or just work?
Gardening for many is a labor of Love. All those hours spent weeding, pruning, irrigation, fertilization and worth it when your first flowers of spring bulbs, or your garden is ripe for the picking. Some do not consider gardening work, but the therapy – a way to relax and leave for a few hours a week. For others, however, gardening as another task added to his already busy life. If only there was a way to save some of these hours working but still reap the benefits of a healthy garden.
The following tips will not make disappear the responsibilities of gardening, but they will help reduce the amount of time you have to spend in the yard.
1. Watering a large garden can take at least 30 minutes or more of your day. If you are living in an area with water restrictions, then your time is dictated by the task of watering your council agenda, which is not always the most convenient. Investing in a drip irrigation system for your lawns and gardens. It's a bit of initial investment, but after a season of automatic, programmed, without wetting dragging heavy hoses, you'll be glad you did. It's also great if you go on vacation, you will not enjoy coming home full of Planters withered, dried plants.
2. Mulch should become your new mantra garden. Generously distributed under shrubs, plants, small trees, and flowers. Will reduce greatly watering and weeding. It also works fine if you're selling your home and you have to give your flower beds a quick face lift.
3. Gardening occupies twice the energy when you are using tools that have not been properly maintained. Get a file and keep sharp edges on their shovels, edgers and cut.
4. Weeding for ten minutes a few times a week can keep a garden that can become uncontrollable and another time to demand your attention. It also helps to capture the youth before weeds flourish and spread further. Some people do their best gardening during the TV commercials. Usually they last for at least 3 to 4 minutes, just long enough to go off to do some pruning or deadheading fast. The best part, that keeps him out of the fridge and give you a little exercise while you're at it.
5. If you book a long time on the weekend for gardening, share it with enough time to rest. Make Fido for a walk, go shopping, or surf the net.
6. You'll be surprised at how much time is available on weekdays in the morning or after dinner. Sneaking in a few sessions of gardening during this time their releases weekends.
7. Make use of containers or raised beds for plants, flowers or vegetables – that cut down on weeds and watering.
